When you are creating a webpage, you do not know what kind of computer and browser will be used to view the webpage you create. You also do not know how large the computer monitor will be, or how large the browser window. All of these factors make it very hard to predict just what your page will look like when someone views it over the Internet.
If you want to use different font sizes, the best way to do this is by using a special set of codes designed for managing fonts over the Internet. These codes are called "Headings." There is "Heading 1" which is extra-jumbo-sized, "Heading 2," which is jumbo-sized, and "Heading 3," which is very large.
The idea is that you might use Heading 1 for the main title on your page, Heading 2 for a heading on the page, and Heading 3 for a sub-heading on the page. To use these settings, just highlight the text, and then select the heading you want to use from the "Body Text" menu in Composer.

Heading sizes are the best choice for manipulating the font size because the heading size you choose will "adapt" to whatever computer and browser the person reading your webpage may be using.
If you have already forced your fonts to be a specific size, you may need to delete what you typed and create it again.
