After you have created a blog post at Bloglines, you may decide you want to edit the post, making changes to the content or to the formatting. You can also delete an existing post. To edit or delete an existing post, go to the Blog area of Bloglines.
In the left pane you should see a list of all your posts, organized month by month. You may need to click on the month folder in order to open it and see the posts for that month:
When you see the post you want to edit, just click on the post title. That will open up a new window containing the current version of the post. (You may need to adjust your pop-up blocker to allow Bloglines to open up a new window). You can edit the post, and then hit the Re-Save to Blog button which you will find at the bottom of the window.
IMPORTANT NOTE: When you edit a post at Bloglines, it will pop up to the top of your blog, with the date and time when you edited the post. That is why it is very important that you include the Week in your course assignment titles. That way you can edit the posts as needed, but it won't be so confusing if one of your posts from a previous week happens to pop up to the top of the list because you just edited it.
You can also choose to delete a post, using the Delete button:
![]()
BE CAREFUL WITH THE DELETE BUTTON. You can delete a blog post just by clicking on the Delete button - and you will not be asked to confirm the deletion. As you as you click that Delete button, your post is gone. So be very careful. Before you hit Delete, you need to be absolutely sure you want to delete the post.
